A Fair Day

Leah & I had a great day today at the Ohio State Fair thanks to Miss Nikki!

Nikki, one of my co-workers, didn't have a date to the fair so I volunteered Leah & myself. What a warm day! But it was great! I know Leah had fun. She loves to play the games. She's not much into the rides, but games & food are always a hit. Nikki & I won her a little purple bear & a purple stuffed crayon. After several lemonades (Nikki found the stands with the clumps of sugar shaken with the lemons!), we headed to the game where you could win goldfish! Leah has been wanting fish for awhile now. I know Chris isn't too thrilled but fish are harmless. She won 2. We bought them some food at Drug Mart. Fingers crossed that they make it through the weekend... I've not heard good things about fair fish, but we'll what we can to keep them alive! They will live in Leah's room. I think that's the safest place in a house with a cat...
