Monday Funday

I'm pretty sure it was a fun day for Leah yesterday! She was so excited to see Lena! She insisted on bringing over her orbeez maker so the girls could make orbeez. I haven't talked to her since I dropped her off at Lena's yesterday morning, but I'm sure it went well! Before we went inside Leah told me not to mention to anyone that she got her hair cut. She wanted to surprise Aunt Shelf & Lena! Michele also told me that Lena bought an American Girl doll & wanted to surprise Leah with it! I brought Leah's doll, Rebecca, along with plenty of her accessories. I hope the girls played well with them! I'm excited to see Lena's doll. Tom didn't know which one she chose. I guess you can't expect dads to know that kind of stuff!

Chris & I also had a fun day yesterday. Chris picked me up during lunch yesterday to drive out to Newark to pick up the check from Coughlin. I noticed it was dated 7/19. Really?! I'm so glad our check sat on someone's desk for a week before anyone could find it. We may have had the chance to buy a car last week, but no! Anyway, I'm glad to finally wash my hands of that dealership. Chris has driven a few cars, but it's pretty much back to the drawing board to find a car. We're hoping that maybe we can wait a little longer to get something. It will give us a chance to possibly save up some more money. I know it bothers Chris to only have 1 car, but it's not that big of a deal for me. I didn't buy my own car until I was at least 21 so I don't feel as dependent on a car. With Chris not working right now it's not so bad. However, I'll get another car in a heartbeat if we can find Chris a decent job!

I got a ride home with Tom yesterday, since Chris was golfing. I noticed he picked up a new iPhone 4. His old iPhone was pretty bad. However, he got home last night & it had stopped working. He talked to support & found out that some iPhones simply have bad sim cards. The new one he picked up yesterday just happened to have a bad sim card. Not nice. But AT&T is taking care of him. Hopefully he can get another new phone today that will work for longer than 10 hours.
