The Water Before the Rain

I had a productive day at work & then headed home to get Leah. She was still in her jammies! I got a big hug when I walked in the door, & that's all I needed! So Leah & I then painted for a bit. Thankfully she let me finish my lunch first (& ice cream). Most of the paint Leah found was dried out. But the black, red, & yellow was usable. She & I each painted a clear rock & traded. They are very cute.

Afterwards, we got ready for the pool! Yep, we made it to the pool for a few hours before the rain!! Chris had a doctor's appointment, so he dropped us at the pool for a few hours. It was very nice! The walkways were HOT, but the water was awesome! Ok so the water was also a bit warm, but I'm not complaining! Leah wasn't complaining either! Leah did great today trying to swim to me. She's definitely getting braver. Pretty soon I'll be able to walk more than 2 feet away from her! She is venturing into the 4 foot area. She didn't like it the other day because she couldn't touch the bottom. However, she willingly led me over there today!
